Privacy Policy

In most cases, all information is kept confidential and will not be disclosed without the written consent of the client.

The few exceptions are when the information is required for third party payment, is subpoenaed, or is needed to protect an individual (e.g., suicide, assault, abuse or neglect).

When there is sufficient reason to believe that an individual (including the client) is in need of protection, a psychologist has the legal and ethical obligation to take action to protect the individual, which could include informing the appropriate authorities and the friends and family members of the individual.
